Design Process
Embarking on a journey of rediscovery, we invest countless hours relearning traditional techniques and skills lost to power looms, synthetic material and consequent displacement of artisans. For us, innovation isn't just a concept; it unfolds at the loom and follows the pace of the loom.
Our designs weave narratives inspired by diverse sources—be it the intricate patterns of traditional techniques, the stories told by vintage textiles or lived experiences. Consciously using high quality natural yarns, Natural & Azo-Free dyes- sourced from in and around Karnataka to minimize the carbon footprint. Our process focuses on reviving heritage textiles through ancillary techniques while creating a meaningful impact at the grassroots level.
